I am a "Jewelry Girl" through and through. I have always loved it. I credit my Mother with developing this love as she gave me my first precious pieces when I was still a toddler. Hard to believe that the gorgeous little silver bangle once fit on my now much larger arm. I then graduated to 5 silver bangles, and finally 7 gold bangles as a teenager which I rarely remove - airport security being the exception.
I was often given jewelry growing up as a significant gift or as a memory of a trip or time in another country. My husband used to joke that there wasn't much left for him to buy between household furnishing and jewelry by the time we got married (so not true).
I have been making jewelry for many years now. My materials became more and more expensive and I was giving my creations to family and friends as gifts. I have redesigned and renovated many older heirloom pieces for myself, friends and family to modernize them, shorten, lengthen, and change them to suit the current style. I have worked for both a major jewelry retailer and a small handmade jewelry business learning different facets of the industry. Once I decided to put all of my efforts into Pink Eucalyptus Jewelry I set time aside on a regular basis to learn new techniques and to continue to sharpen my skills through a series of classes with various master teachers.
I change my jewelry like I change my clothes. I believe it is another way to express your personality, showcase beautiful things and remember special moments or people. Most of us reach a certain age and have enough pieces that we could go quite a while and never wear the same pieces twice, BUT we all have our favorites. Those pieces that you usually wear with a certain top or dress. We have sentimental pieces that you may never wear again but would never part with.
For all of these reasons, and because I love creating beautiful things for people to enjoy, it is important to me that my pieces are reasonably priced. I pride myself on buying quality materials at the best prices I can find and passing those savings on to you. Jewelry should be worn, enjoyed, and changed like clothing. It should be given often as gifts because it is beautiful, elegant, and meaningful.
I love to work with clients to create new pieces. I know you may have a vision in mind for a certain piece and it gives me great pleasure to help you create it. You may also have a modification to one of my designs that would work better for you. Do you have vintage pieces from an older relative that you would like to remake into something more modern and wearable? I would love to work with you on your special order jewelry projects.
Thank you for visiting my site! Please return often to see new additions.
